Why I do joint Mobilization?
Mobilization of the joint is required to preserve its long-term function and mobility. Joint mobilisation promotes range of motion and mobility by enhancing the patient's awareness of the right position and movement of a joint and replicating smooth joint function. A physical therapist manually moves a joint using small, passive motions, gradually moving it past a normal degree of resistance. The advantages of joint mobilisation include reduced stiffness, increased range of motion, and enhanced joint movement quality (known as arthrokinematics)
